Hi guys!

I’m not sure if this is proper etiquette, but I’m making an adventure game and would love to have some feedback on my work as it progresses. The game is called Milkmaid of the Milky Way and is set on a remote Norwegian farm in the late 1920’s. It’s a point-and-click/tap game with a focus on story, exploration and light puzzles. This weekend I made a teaser trailer, maybe you’d like to take a look and tell me what you think?

If I’m allowed to talk more about this work in progress project on the forum, I’ll keep you updated as things move along! The first act out of three is pretty much in alpha right now, and I’m planning to release the game sometime in 2016 on iOS, Mac and PC.

Milkmaid of the Milky Way was greenlit last month, and is racing towards a release on Steam and App Store on January 5th, 2017!

The game is in final testing now, and everything’s getting ready for the grand release.

If you haven’t followed the game before, Milkmaid of the Milky Way is a classic point-and-click adventure game in rhyme that combines an exciting story with puzzles and exploration. What happens when a young milkmaid sees an alien craft in a fjord in 1920’s Norway?

Well, the game is now out, and it’s pretty good in my opinion. Just the right difficulty for a game that you can sit down with and enjoy for an evening or two. Wonderful music, beautiful pixel art, and generally a very “fresh” feel. I hope it does well!

I’ve just finished the game. It was short (2 hours and an half) but lovely.

Puzzles were for the most part good and straightforward with one exception that took me a while to solve but was clever outside the box thinking using the frog croak to get the mechanic to empty his oil can

The music complements well the surroundings. The art design is just perfect for that game and during the first section with the farm, screens looked liked paintings…

The dialogues are all written in rhymes which adds to the charm.

I really recommend this game.
