Ben Jordan 8 - Release Date
(I thought I remembered seeing a thread about this on the new forums but can’t find it, so here comes a new thread).
For anyone who has enjoyed the free Ben Jordan series of games made by Grundislav Games using the AGS engine, the long awaited final installment, Case 8: Relics of the Past, now has a release date of 8 August. 
And if you’ve never played them before, now is a good time to check out the first 7 games for free at the developer’s website, or the AGS website.
I’m psyched!! I bet it’s gonna be epic.
I’ll have to see it before I believe it. The game was first set to be launched by christmas 2010. I really wonder what’s taken Francisco Gonzalez this long. Still I’m sure the game’ll be great and I’m sure to play it if or when it’ll see the light of day.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

First two cases probably aren’t as good as the later ones but there are fully voiced special editions of both of them and they are still well worth playing.

Fantastic! I’ve been playing this series since the very beginning so as excited as I am to finally see its conclusion, it’s a also a little bittersweet that something I’ve followed closely for so many years is actually ending. I’m going to miss the seemingly endless wait for the next Ben Jordan game.
