Okay, now I’m thinking of Sanitarium.

Aha, both quotes are from Riven. Laughing The first line is from Gehn’s journal (“If I could restore your life with my pen, I would do so in an instant…”) and the second quote is from Catherine’s journal.

Of course you are correct Trunkyo…

If you haven’t felt at least sorry for Gehn after reading his journal, then you have no heart….

If you do feel even a little bit sorry for Gehn after reading The Book of Atrus, then you have no heart… Tongue

The guy was a major jerk and losing his wife doesn’t excuse the way he treated everyone, including his son.

There used to be a lot of intense discussion about Gehn’s character in the old Mystcommunity forums. Everything was thrown into the discussion, from his upbringing in D’ni, to his harsh treatment of Atrus and the dooming of countless worlds in BoA, to the dried teardrop in his journal in Age 233. Hoo boy. Gasp

Next quote, probably an easy one:
“Take care of Max for me.”

I’m NOT going to say what first came into mind, because it sounds TOO obvious!!! Smile

On second thought…it brings me vague memories from the Last Express finale. It’s been awfully long to be sure however…

Your memories aren’t so vague after all Wink, it’s the last line from The Last Express before the final cutscene ends and the credits roll.

I admit that I was intrigued for a second to say Sam & Max…
Anyway…

I hate purple tentacles. I prefer the green ones - much nicer.

Yes. Smile It is a Froderick quote commenting the stained glass windows in Shrowdy’s office.

Your turn.

Well, what luck. I usually have a lousy memory and can never guess these even when I’ve played the game. But I’m playing Vampyre Story right now, and that DoTT reference got stuck in my head Smile

Ok here goes

Your ears are fine. It’s what’s between them that scares me

This reminds me something I played very recently.
I’m going to guess…
Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon?

Could be something Sam says to Max.

It’s definitely something I’ve played. I can hear the guy’s voice in my head, he’s an old guy, an “old coot” sort of character. And I think the game is kind of cartoony.

Argh!... This is driving me crazy.
