Gabriel Knight 2: Maximum Points
Hello all, and apologies if this has been posted / answered elsewhere.
Just completed Gabriel Knight 2 again for the first time in years (bought it off Gog for less than the price of a decent sandwich, and enjoyed the nostalgia ride).
I noticed that I was just 1 point short of the maximum. Question is…
What happens if you finish the game with maximum points? Is there a prize or incentive or something, or is it just bragging rights?
Did I miss out on something by not quite getting maximum points?
For anyone who remembers the bit in Gabriel Knight 2: Beast Within where you’re forced to hide a cookoo clock in a pot plant… I feel your pain…
The only game I can think of where points actually mattered was Conquest of Camelot where some scenarios would play out based on how pious you were or something.
GK2 isn’t that. It’s from before the era when 100% completion would net you concept art or whatever.
