Congratulations to all who participated, impressive results indeed. Darkeye (I’m not really surprised why you are a master at quizzes after all, not only to arrange them); Lady (always on the crest of the wave); Abnaxus (one of these days you will win one of these, “the one who perseveres wins”, at least that’s what they say).
And congratulations to the rest as well, this was quite difficult.

Thank you D for a very interesting quiz - if only I could have got points for browsing I would be there up near the top as I think I looked in screenshot galleries for all but a couple of games featured but obviously the wrong ones!

Congratulations DarkEye & WOW! to that amazing score & getting so many Lady Kestrel & Abnaxus!  Smile

Wow, DarkEye!  You blew the doors off everyone this time.  This was one tough quiz, but I really enjoyed it.  And thanks to Abnaxus for all the pulling and pushing you did to keep me looking.

You do have a knack for finding hard-to-find shots, D.  The only one I’m slapping my head about is Timelapse.  I looked at the scene, and right away the pots made me think of the game, but I didn’t remember the two-headed snake.  I should have looked in my strategy guide.  It is part of a puzzle. Tongue

Great quiz D and thanks.

Got to say bloody well done to DarkEye for that score. Truly remarkable. And a very well done to all you others. I’m pretty pleased with my score and feeling smug (actually, astounded!) that I got 2 that nobody else recognised. That’s definitely a first for me.

What really surprised me is that only DarkEye and myself got 26. The statue of Baphomet from BS1. I really, really expected everyone taking part to recognise that.

Phew!! What a challenging and interesting quiz that was! Thank you very much for that torture, D! Browsing for exact images was extremely hard this time.(or maybe I was looking on the several wrong places too, just like chrissie). There was also a few games I’ve never heard for them before, they may come in handy.
Well done to Lady Kestrel and Abnaxus for a very nice second spot race!
I was wondering why #44 is looking so familiar to me.

I’ve found that only by using youtube walkthrough to be honest.  Cool

You Tube helped me out with a couple of shots but you do still need to have an inkling in the 1st place as to actually what to ‘You Tube’!  Laughing

Thanks for the quiz, D!

A VERY big congrats to DarkEye for annihilating all competition here. Seriously!

I’m quite happy with my score, especially since I practically did zero research due to lack of time. A bit irked that I missed the KQ5 one. Especially since I considered it at one point but went “nah, that was a regular eagle, not a two-headed one”. I should have just made it a guess.

I have to say I was actually a bit surprised by how difficult popular games like Blade Runner, Sanitarium, KQ5, Broken Sword, etc., were for many to identify. OTOH, I wasn’t surprised in the slightest that nobody guessed Hercules & Xena. Tongue

If you are curious, HERE is the original shortened quiz that I was initially going to post. It isn’t exactly the same with some shots showing more background and a couple games having different scenes altogether, but you can get an idea how you would have done had I gone with that instead. All shots would have been collectively guessed, that’s for sure.

Anyway, I have to give credit to DarkEye for his phenomenal score (although I’m quite amused about #44) and thanks to everyone for participating.

I don’t think I would have done any better in that shorter quiz D & I really did like the larger one you posted - it was an intriguing subject & the answers interesting!  Laughing
