Gave the first one a try, and I’m very happy to say the I got everything expect 7 answers correct - which I actually consider a great result.

I’ve only had about 20 mins to spend on the 1st crossword today but I think I’m going to have to look up some stuff to complete it!

I’ve been working on the second one and have 8 that are giving me fits right now.  I’ll have to check the game lists for some of them.

After slogging through those 8 in #2, I finally had some ah-ha moments, but 2 are still eluding me.

Which two?

I’d say you’re kicking butt at these puzzles so far though. That’s 209 of 211 clues you’ve figured out so far. That’s excellent.

Only 191 more to go. Tongue

I’ll stop after second, and my score is awful. I’ve never particularly liked crosswords. Thank you for this monster puzzle, D.

I still haven’t figured out “Ingress” and “ISS Disaster” in the second puzzle.  I’m guessing the former has something to do with coming in or entering but haven’t found it yet, and I thought I had the latter with Lost Horizon or Noctropolis, which fits my T and O, but no luck.  One of my favorite ah-has was for hangman’s rope.  Very clever!

I still have 9 to go in puzzle #3 but my brain is too fuzzy to continue tonight.  I took a screenshot of my answers so I can pick it up again tomorrow.

I still haven’t figured out “Ingress”

It’s been quite a while since the last time I’ve heard that word:

Psychiatrist: Next please.
(Knocking at door. Psychiatrist is about to call when he picks up a thesaurus and thumbs through it.)
Psychiatrist: Cross the threshold, arrive, ingress, gain admittance, infiltrate. (Notlob enters in an ordinary suit) Ah Mr Notlob, ah park your hips, on the sitting device.
Notlob (to camera): It is a mad psychiatrist.

And there’s more here (if you don’t have a book, unlike Yours Truly).

Speaking of the dead the past… what do you think of this, zobraks? Cool Looks like fun so we’ve ordered tickets. It’s a risk though, might be terrible.

It can’t be that bad: you can hop to Wimbledon and watch the qualifying rounds…

That’s all you have to say? And no Wimbledon, we will be able to walk to the dining experience. The actors are doing a tour of 20 countries or something.

It looks like fun, Karlok.  The Pythons were on the Tonight Show earlier this year before performing in New York, and they had Jimmy Fallon in stitches most of the time.

Aha, a fellow countryman lost, how sad. I don’t know much about tennis… just a couple of names, like Billie Jean King, Chris Evert, John McEnroe, Rod Laver, Steffi Graf, Boris Becker. Are they still around, does anyone know? I’d love to see McEnroe’s act again.

Becker is Djokovic’s coach, while McEnroe is pretty much active - he’s monkeying around (along with Mats Wilander) on Eurosport during each Grand Slam as a special commentator. Tongue Chris Evert, too (she looks great! Heart Eyes )
