I played it recently, so it was easily recognizable.
The next one should not be quite as easy, in fact I think it is a bit diabolic 
Lets see how much you pay attention to the pictures hanging on the walls when you play a game.

I know that at least some did notice this picture, as it spurred a debate about what it meant in regards to some story elements of the game.

Why are the colours so red? Is this in a darkroom or something?

Not a darkroom or a room in the dark, but in a room lit by candles and/or a fireplace, and not by electric light.
BTW the two pictures are hanging right next to each other, and the second picture is of a Phoenix rising from the fire/ashes of it’s predecessor, which is also the reason why it caused some debate/speculations/theories.

Hmmm, I seem to recall a discussion about Kate (in the game Syberia) philosophically rising like a Phoenix from the ashes of her former self to become a stronger, more confident person, or something like that.
Were these from Syberia?

Seems more like a first-person game to me. Like you can actually walk up to the pictures to get a better look.

Not Syberia - And the Phoenix discussion didn’t necessarily take place in this forum, and that is all I can say about that subject without risking spoiling something.
Seems more like a first-person game to me.
Not necessarily outright first-person view.
Like you can actually walk up to the pictures to get a better look.
We are zoomed in as much as we can, in fact both pictures were cropped from the same screenshot. Why don’t I show the full screenshot, until posting a new picture tomorrow.
