Apart from the rendering of a few characters you come across & some of the voice-acting I would never have guessed that The Filmmaker (2010) was the 3rd game by Unimatrix Productions. Unlike its story driven predecessors Lifestream & Shady Brook it takes a different direction with the focus leaning heavily on exploration & puzzle-solving rather than plot (although there is one!) Set in an old abandoned cinema one of the aspects I really liked was ‘jumping into’ a variety of cheesy B Movies needing items from the cinema or to be picked up from other movies to solve the vast variety of puzzles presented. I confess to not always being able to make sense of the reasoning behind some of them but did enjoy the game!

Shoulder pads!

Were they still trendy in 2010? - just realised that the screenshot comes from a film set in the 30’s/40’s…..yeh! I’m sure they had shoulder pads then…....

He looks like one of those ‘murican football players who forgot to take his shoulder pads out after the game.
