We need a new thread for all of our general ramblings which don’t qualify for threads of their own, so here goes.

Would anyone care for some tea and biscuits?

So this is the replacement for the Thread™? My new home in this forum.

I’d say yes to the tea and biscuits except I’ve just eaten half a chocolate cake all by myself, so I really shouldn’t.

I like to think of it as a combination of the AG Community Blog, and the parts of The Thread™ which were unrelated to people trying to kill it. Just general social chat and whatnot.

I shall save you some biscuits for when your cake is digested. Smile

Tea please, the caffeine from the iced cappy is wearing off.

Didn’t anyone try to contact Squaresie about the Thread’s imminent death?

I have a thing for lemonade and energy drinks at the moment, though I wouldn’t mind some tea either.
Green chai anyone?

I play story-heavy games, watch animation, anime, B-movies, disaster movies, sci-fi movies and crime shows and try to write about it all on my blog: Snark, pedantry and random geekery

What, so no Lacey posting “...” or “Whatever” all over? How can we live!? More importantly - how can he?

Maybe we should make a thread where Rob could just keep on posting random things like that?

The link worked fine here, but I’ve now changed the ö in the URL to an o, in case that was what confused your browser.

Alessandro Del Piero retired (from Juventus, at least, he might continue somewhere cooling off, but this is what matters). It’s a sentimental and moving moment, the end of an era. Just one of the most amazing football players ever, and not just as a player but as a person and an icon.

I grew up watching Del Piero, I still can’t imagine Juventus without him.

Glad he scored in the last game, in the home stadium, winning the Scudetto after all the troubles Juventus went in the last years.

No wonder big men were crying in the crowd. Nobody was watcing the game anymore after they substituted him off, they were just chanting and cheering for him Smile

(Edit): Of course, it wasn’t just Del Piero, it was a crowd of legends who retired this weekend, Inzaghi, Nesta, Gattuso, Seedorf…

So, is Jatsie the bartender around these parts, then? I’ll have a club soda.

I wonder if y’all, especially Jazzie, have seen the Cthulhu Knitted Ski Mask Kickstarter? It’s over 1000% funded - but be quick, only 26 hours left!!

Green is just not my color.

No tea and biscuits for me right now.  I’m having coffee and a bagel.

Carpe chocolate.
