I haven’t seen Bigge yet.

Isn’t that the main goal of any Carol Reed game - to find Bigge? Grin

Recently finished: Four Last Things 4/5, Edna & Harvey: The Breakout 5/5, Chains of Satinav 3,95/5, A Vampyre Story 88, Sam Peters 3/5, Broken Sword 1 4,5/5, Broken Sword 2 4,3/5, Broken Sword 3 85, Broken Sword 5 81, Gray Matter 4/5\nCurrently playing: Broken Sword 4, Keepsake (Let\‘s Play), Callahan\‘s Crosstime Saloon (post-Community Playthrough)\nLooking forward to: A Playwright’s Tale

A Carol Reed game without Bigge is like a village without church. Or a woman without big ass.

No mention of Bigge’s voice in the credits. But the name Gareth Williams is in the list of “other voices”.

Does Bigge always have the part of a janitor or handyman?

No, he used to be a herbalist and a veterinarian.

Ooooooh! I love the herbalist pic. Heart

Heh… veterinarian or lawyer?  Tongue

PS: I asked because I remember a pic of him leaning on a broom.

He might’ve been a lawyer too (he dealt with a contract of some kind - mark his words).

Your suspicion was justified: Bigge was mainly (some would say always) a “hygiene engineer”.

Spoilers ahead! Don’t read this if you haven’t finished the game yet.

I finished the game yesterday and although I loved the locations as usual. Being inside that pyramid felt very special! So strange to see that coffin stand there and know that there is a human being being dead inside. I loved the car cemetery too. You’ll never find anything like that in the Netherlands.
The story was a disappointment for me though. Just when Carol seemed to get on track with her research it was suddenly finished. For me Cold Case Summer is still the best Carol Reed game out there.

I always thought Bigge would make a good carpenter. I mean he’s so Jesuslike in all other ways, so why not?

Why don’t you simply use spoiler tags?

Shrug. I don’t understand what your problem is, Mr. Beestard.

Heh, I’m not offended at all, just mystified cause I didn’t understand.

Carol Reed fans, have you read the review at AG’s main page?

Carol Reed fans, have you read the review at AG’s main page?

No. I’ll read it (maybe) when I finish the real deal*.

By the way, I strongly believe a review is not worth a row of beans if you’re not familiar with the reviewer’s character & preferences. I seldom know anything about the game reviewers (the late Quandary team excepted - these folks knew how to write and had a great experience when it came to AG’s, they had played a heap of AG’s, I mean they knew what they were writing about, unlike most of the people who imagine they’re AG reviewers).

* The games are meant to be played, not to be blabbered about, aren’t they?

It’s a good review. It was a good idea to get someone new to the series to write it, to give a fresh perspective. I doubt I could have done a better job.
