Valiant Hearts was discounted on steam and I didn’t think twice to purchase it.
Excited to play it I installed the game only to find out the game is victim to DRM within DRM. Deinstalled the game immediately.

Yeah. I think it’s riduclous and don’t want to give them a sense of endorsement.

Update:

I found a way to circumvent the system. Don’t need to login to Uplay. Going to enjoy the game now.

Valiant Hearts is superb so far. Almost finished chapter 2. It’s pretty lengthy. As I was nearing the end of chapter 1 I actually thought I was reaching the games conlusion. Consider my surprise when I found out it’s only the first chapter of 4.

Yeah, it’s a very good game handling a different and serious subject. It is longer than most of the games of the genre. Compared to Inside for example.

Finished Valiant Hearts. What a great ride with close to every level being memorable.

The juxtaposition created by the non-violence of the characters and the violence and horror of the situations you find yourself in was a good decision by the game designers.

For a war game that pretends to be innocent in some aspects the overall message suprisingly hits home like no other. “Everybody is a loser during war”.

The inclusion of classical music in its soundtrack was a big plus for me, my favourite being the trumpet rendition of Humoresque no. 2 by Dvorak.

Batman Episode 1 Realm of Shadows is free on steam for unknown limited time.

What a load of @(#*. It’s just a discount for the whole season. You can’t get episode 1 by itself for free.
