Wow, Telltale is taking on a lot.  I am looking forward to this one.

Got massive boner at Borderlands as i love the series , world and bloody
handsome Jack, Marcus = HeLL YEaH!

Few minutes later , got massive downer at GoT based on Show, i mean the
books have such a rich lore to explore.

Maybe TTG is swimming in money of Gbox and HBO or whoever will throw
good coin.

Now i understand show audience is the main target, but how they will tackle nudity
and Sexscenes??? and Incest options as branching paths

I also think, given the workload, it will delay to 2015, and we will get
some Blands eps , full TWD-S2 and TWAU in 2014. They havent decided on
characters yet and still writing story.

I think they’ll end up doing at least some nudity.  It’s too much an iconic part of the show not to have it in the game.  It is being produced by HBO after all.  I doubt they will have branching paths though, at least not true branching paths.  Even TWD was pretty much strictly linear, aside from different dialog options.

Nudity and Sex isn’t the iconic part of the show. Its the maturity and adult nature of a fantasy world that is iconic. It treats you not like a growing teen but as an adult who wants to experience a truely gritty and unforgiving fantasy adventure. Sex is only a product of the maturity of these type of fantasy storytelling.

I agree the books are better than the show overall but their pacing can be painfully slow at times.  I imagine the scope of the story in a game like this will need to be smaller than the books or show so it makes sense to base the game off of the work that is smaller in scope.  I’m not sure if it matters that much that the game will be based on the show rather than the books, I didn’t think the show deviates too much when it comes to the essential core of the books (haven’t seen season 3 yet, waiting for it to come out on rental).

I think nudity would be interesting but wouldn’t kill the game for me (if it doesn’t happen).  As another said, its the maturity and adult nature of this fantasy world that makes it interesting.

I do agree that Telltale is taking on a lot, we’ll see how well they manage all this.  I hope they get everything done and keep their sanity.  I have enough games to play and would rather have delayed and good than on time and mediocre.

Yes 4 months between each episode, aint enough???

New info got me back in the hype train as its not actually based on the show but follows alternate timeline in the North region.

I am so happy to see Telltale games involved in this. I love The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, and I really wonder how this is going to be. Will it be a game similar to TWD and TWAU? Or will it be it’s own game with some aspects of the two?
