Maybe also SOMA around that time
I’ve come late to this discussion but want to be counted as someone who is definitely disappointed that this is now console-only. I don’t feel “entitled” to have it on PC, but I will not be buying a PS just to play it, though I easily could.
Back in PS2 days I wanted to have one just to try out, and when The X-Files game was included in a bundle at a very attractive price I bought one. I had already played and liked the game on PC and thought it would be a good test of the differences in platforms. It turned out that I hated the experience, and even being aware that reviews of the console version of the game were tepid at best didn’t help. I played several of the other forgettable games and found out definitively that console gaming was not for me. I just much prefer playing adventure games on a PC.
I will just bide my time and wait out the game’s inevitable, to my mind, porting over to PC, which I wouldn’t be surprised is going on simultaneously with the development of the console version - it’s just a business decision to release it on console first and when console sales flag it will come out on PC. Anyway, those are my hopes.

Chinese Room said, PC version is upto Sony, not in their hands, as its produced by SantaMonica Sony.
Sony uptill now hasn’t ported anything to PC except Sony Online games.
Let’s See.
It looks like another Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
A game I did not particularly enjoy, despite it’s prettiness. I won’t be getting a PS4 for this, I’m afraid.
New big gameplay video:
Should be a relaxing experience

Yeah, it’s annoying, and the video has nothing shocking…
Try this one:
Glad to see a richer variety of storytelling methods in EGttR, in contrast to (only) triggered audio logs and scattered notes. I wonder if we’ll be able to pass through fences and topiary. Probably not, since it wasn’t shown in demo, but who knows.

83 metacritic, Gamespot 9 and some loved it too much while others rating it along 7, mostly hating no running option.
In anycase the storytelling and unfolding is being praised mostly.
My preload is done, 14 hrs till Rapture.
Edit:
Down to 79, thanks to some french site, ah well, French voice overs in game perhaps suck.
Hmm…not sure if this should really be on the adventure section. All reports indicate this is essentially a walking sim like dear esther. There’s no puzzles, no real interactions etc.
Recently completed: Game of Thrones (decent), Tales from the borderlands (great!), Life is Strange (great!), Stasis (good), Annas Quest (great!); Broken Age (poor)

Walking sim is offshoot of AG coined by for profit digital platform Steam iirc, but care to eloborate the difference between this EthanCarter, GoneHome, DearEsther and Stanley parable.
Then close eyes and think about player agency in all above versus TTG.
You will get the answer.
I dont mind if mods will take it to General, but i contend its as much interactive as EthanCarter
Will confirm today.

Listed as adventure here, and on more sites if you care to google.
I can help if you insist on this matter like Shenmue debacle.
