I just want to throw a thought into the Hotel Dusk discussion. It’s a Nintendo platform game. I have nothing against it. But either you have a DS that can play the game or you don’t. I think a platform game might eliminate a few people. One would be me. It’s one thing to say “I’m voting for this, but I’ll play whatever wins.” But it’s another thing to say that when the game is not PC/Mac compatible, and would require an equipment purchase to participate.
I know I have not played in every playthrough. But I never said I would. Just a thought.
Edit: I would say the same thing if this was a vote for Heavy Rain or any other console game.

I’ve read this three times and still don’t understand what your point is. You don’t have a DS, so you can’t play Hotel Dusk and you won’t vote for it. Fine. So what? Nobody is telling you that you should buy a DS or “play whatever wins”, just like nobody is telling me that I should vote for Syberia when I hate it.
Fifteen games nominated, only one a console game… I rest my case.

My reasons for this vote, in no particular order:
1) It’s a great game and I haven’t replayed it in a while.
2) It makes a grown man feel excluded and hurts his feelings, which is hilarious.
3) It means we now have a four-way tie at the top.

Three-way tie. JULIA is only available at Steam, so rtrooney’s provisional vote doesn’t count.
