The adventure game discount thread
I’ve looked around in the Steam Sale:
- Prices are better in the gog sale. Most adventures that are today on sale on gog are cheaper than os Steam. Only if a specific adventure goes on a daily, flash or community sale will it reach the price of gog. Recent games like Grim Fandango, Vanishing of Ethan Carter, maybe GK20th will probably get a daily flash sale.
- The library selection however is much bigger than gog and some older adventures have low prices and some publishers like Wadget Eye and Daedalic have already games at very low prices, at least matching some of the gog sales.
- Some bundles are interesting: The return of Daedalic Armageddon bundle, Adventure Company Hits , Telltale bundle
- Current daily/flash sales: Tales From the Borderlands , Papers, Please , Outlast
- The community game is a cookie-clicker clone pointless but still a better effort than the more recent sales
Tale of Tales has their own sale, hosted on itch.io: http://taleoftales.itch.io/
Sunset - 9,99 $
Luxuria Superbia - 3,49 $
