Best News from TGS,

Project Sissors, a spiritual sequel to Clock Tower. Working on the project are game designer Hifumi Kouno (Clock Tower director), created designer Masahiro Ito (worked on Silent Hill., designed pyramid head and bubblehead nurses), and Takashi Shimizu (directed the Juon films).

It’s suppose to come out for Android devices as well. They’re using Unity Pro so it can actually come out to any number of platforms in the future although they’re obviously designing it for handheld devices first and foremost. Could turn out to be a really awesome game.

Senix gone nuts,

Square Enix wants to turn Eidos’ games into “Persistent Online Experiences”.

They also list their franchises as:
-Hitman
-Tomb Raider
-Deus Ex
-Sleeping Dogs
-Just Cause

Also tabata confirms FFXV will be casual for mainstream, auto driving, auto fighting,
auto blocks and one button action game.

So there is another expo at the end of 2014, and apparently Sony is revealing more Exclusives. UC4 gameplay footage is also rumored.

Another Event to come with UC4 gameplay confirmed.

But keighley did bring some awesome footages.

-Zelda hype deflated, looks dated and worse than Ninokuni.
Some other openworld games like Before and Wild are much better at this.
-Witcher3 has another playable character, looks quite cinematic??
-MGS online was awesome stuff, gonna be hit, excited to play multiplayer.
-Josef Fares game though short clip, looks really atmospheric, now as EA Indie outlet.
-New game by Gone Home guys.
-And No Man’s Sky is still looking hot and unique.
- Order is best looking game, its GREAAAT looking CG.
- Adrift looks Indie Gravity game.

Playstation Experience

Kick off of Sony’s two day event in Las Vegas.

Starts off with a BANG with in game footage of Uncharted 4. Was looking fantastic until the player cocked up and fell through the world. The traversal and hand to hand looked great especially when he was pushed under the water, it looked great, or when he used the rope to swing round hit a guy grab his AK and shoot someone else in one smooth movement. The AI seems better with them jumping around ledges and climbing like you. Seems they have merged the traversal and fighting sections a bit instead of keeping them completely seperate. I want this now.

MLB 15 presented by the plaid bigrade..Still damn Baseball though so YAWN

Killstrain a new top down FTP game. 5v2v5 matches. Didn’t show the game…weird.

On to Bloodborne showing the Chalice Dungeon, a rouge like location that changes depending on the player. Proceduraly generated dungeons. Boss was a giant flaming dog. Looked fun.

Adam Boyes shows off the new Destiny DLC The Dark Below.

Next it Leaked trailer time with Street fighter V eh no it’s not its Ultra Street Fighter IV and he jokes about expecting another announcement.

So now for some indies

Killing Floor 2 co-op shooter looks Meh.
Darkest Dungeon is a side scroller RPG with a stylistic look.
The Forest is a 3D survival game in a forest. Build structures, fend off other monsters and animals.

A lot of short announcements for Bastion, Persona 5, Geometry Wars 3, Orcs Must Die Unchained coming to Vita and PS4.

Peter Moore on stage to announce free games to celebrate 20yrs (Need for Speed Most Wanted - Vita, Mirrors Edge - PS3 and Plants vs Zombies - PS4).

More Indies Dungeon Defenders II, Skytron, Severed, Shovel Knight, Enter the Gungeon

Finally onto Batman Arkham Knight which still looks amazing. Can’t wait to try the Batmobile out. More Scarecrow levels…oooh scary. Out in June.

So now they show Street Fighter V exclusive to PS4.

Blah Blah bunch of Vita games.

Tiiiim. Broken Age coming to PS4 and Vita when the complete game is done. Grim Fandango time. Coming January 27th.

Holy shit Day of the Tentacle Special Edition coming soon

Santa Monica Studio announce a few weird ones Fat Princess Adventure, Wattum (Cube Mayor trying on hats , has bomb on head ????), What remains of Edith Finch from the Unfinished Swan folks.

Next up is The Order 1886 played live. Looking sweeet.

Tearaway Unfolded another mad Media Molacule game. Lots of camera, touch pad and motion controls.

Until Dawn live play. Watching it live makes me Concered about how much movement control you actually have or if this is just a modern age Dragon’s Lair.

Final Fantasy VII coming to PS4. Finally people will shut up about a remake.

No Man’s Sky played in real time. Wow that’s a giant universe to explore. Still not sure what to do in it.

And Finally David Jaffe new game.

Drawn to Death a fast paced arena shooter with an art style of someones scribbles on their school notebook. Sorry but I hate the art style, it looks shite.

Man this was a game filled show i’m sure I missed a bunch.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

They won’t because it’s just a port of the PC version of the same old game. People will still want a remake.

Not a lot of new games but conference was good, only focusing on showing games.

That Final Fantasy VII announcement is amazing to me because it makes me realise that these devs actually have to go back and port all these PS1 and PS2 titles for the new console architecture and all that progress made during the PS3’s life cycle is basically moot. It just seems so incredibly inefficient.

Great PSX panel discussing storytelling in videogames.

Great reasonable discussion on the processes of Storymaking.
Have unseen videos for UntillDawn and Order.
Until Dawn’s feels like a sleeperhit, lots of branching and dialogues/acting is better than Heavyrain, demo of Contextual expressions Thumbs Up

And the Order new footage, Breathtaking, cinematic masterpiece, them voices and graphics!

Also have a celebrity we call Tim, so a must check.
