Hi fellow adventure fans,

you might have seen it on the front page already, I’m currently kickstarting my Lovecraft-inspired adventure The Eldritch Cases: Dagon (formerly known as H.P. Lovecraft’s Dagon)

The game is based on H.P. Lovecraft’s writings, mainly the stories Dagon, Shadow over Innsmouth and Herbert West, Reanimator. It’s a 3rd person 2d adventure, and the player takes control of two main characters (similar to how it’s handled in Broken Sword).

AG did a writeup after the AdventureX in London in December, and Kickstartadventures wrote another one now.

Some facts:

- horror point & click adventure based on H.P. Lovecraft
- 2 playable characters
- Soundtrack by Jan Kavan (J.U.L.I.A, Ghost in the Sheet)
- Win/Mac/Linux
- German/English

Yes, mobile ports are planned (the engine I’m using supports both Android and iOS), however an iOS port will not be part of the KS campaign. The reason for that is that I haven’t found a feasible way to distribute the game to backers via Apples appstore unfortunately.

For Android that would be easy as I can just offer .apk files for download, but with iOS that’s not possible.

But if you would like to see the game come to iOS at one point, every pledge is more than welcome, haha :-)

I hope you forgive me one last bump, but the Kickstarter campaign has reached the final 24 hour stretch and is still quite away from it’s goal, so if anyone of you planned to back The Eldritch Cases: Dagon, now would be the perfect time :-)
