I played The 11th Hour last year. Mid-‘90s FMV is sublimely cheesy and charming to look back on. 11th Hour is well worth playing for a few hours if you want a 7th Guest nostalgia dose without replaying 7th Guest.

I’m looking forward to playing Phantasmagoria 2.

Yeah, we walkthroughed it shamelessly back then. Didn’t even know what some of the words mean after seeing a solution.

what do mean by walkthroughed it back then. but there were no walkthroughs back then?..only hintbooks.
did you buy one you mean?

Don’t know what the OP meant exactly, but I definitely used walkthroughs “back then”.

There were books like the KQ/SQ/LSL Companion that had full walkthroughs. There were books that were big collections of walkthroughs (pretty sure I had one with 7th Guest) and I owned a PC one as well as an NES one. The internet did exist, and people were posting walkthroughs on BBSes, Usenet, and almost certainly the web before the mid-‘90s.

it seems you refer to the two parts of my post at one..

if you had those ‘books’ then i believe we arw agreeing on sumthin, but as for the 2nd part that the internet existed before the mid-90s then i must go now and kill myself, not that i don’t believe its just i don’t wanna kill myself really, not today.

Sorry, busy, busy. I’ll join you but after finishing Police Quest. Start going if you are in the mood to play it.

With Police Quest concluded it’s time to look at other games.
Do you want to play Quest for Glory now, Advie? If not I will tackle individual games not part of a big series for now.

GOG thinks you should play Codename: Iceman.

(I think GOG hates you.)

I think most people agree with you (from what I randomly heard) but a good point to take for the future playthrough
