Yes, I took some time to make sure the controls work great

And yeah, I was surprised to see how good the game looks on the Vita screen compared to my regular PC screen!

A bit unrelated to my game, but I got to meet Didier Chanfray in person at an event I was showcasing Demetrios this week end!

He’s the co-creator of Alone In the Dark and Little Big Adventure :p (among others!) A very friendly guy, I got to talk to him for more than an hour. He told me how he wanted to attempt a Kickstarter for Little Big Adventure 3 but a specialist told him he would get $800,000, barely enough for a prototype (according to him). He shared some “creation secrets” behind Alone In the Dark, like how they used 3D modeling to set up the camera angles and then let an artist draw each angle with painting…

He was very interested in the story behind my game, was quite impressed I did everything myself and he was very supportive. I offered him a copy of Demetrios lol

Just for your information… Demetrios has released this week on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles

Now I can focus on my next project, a very ambitious and unique adventure game!

Thanks! I already have a 2-hours playable prototype, but with placeholder art. Still a long way to go, but at least Demetrios is doing enough sales so I can take my time and make my next game as good as possible

The game has been adapted for small screens and touch controls. It’s available as a one-time purchase on iOS for $5. For Android, the game spans on 6 chapters ($1 each)

What? Why the sudden change?

Well, this is what I originally intended. But I had a little chat with the Fran Bow devs just before release, which title was very successful on mobile and most sales came from the first chapters, so I figured it was a mistake…

However, all titles are different. First day sales for Demetrios on mobile are a total disaster (a few units on iOS, 0 on Android… LOL… Good thing I had no expectation XD) so I’ve decided to make first chapter entirely free, so more people can try the game

Hey everyone! Long time no update here

Demetrios has been released on Nintendo Switch yesterday! (a demo is available on the e-shop)

It will also be getting a very limited physical release on PS4 and PS Vita through a new French publisher, pre-orders are currently open : https://www.redartgames.com/

Finally, I’ve been working on an ambitious and unique new adventure game “Project Brok” for two years. I’ve finally completed most of the programming, scenario and dialog (more than 15,000 lines already!) so I’m now focusing on the art. Still a ton of work ahead so I expect a release in 2020.

Hopefully I can reveal the game within the next 6 months though! In the meantime, I will do some dev streams on Twitch very soon, so you’ll get a first look! Believe me, it’s one whole league above Demetrios (especially when it comes to characters) and it has never-before-seen gameplay for an adventure game!

Hey, people! 3 years after its initial rejection, I’m pleased to announce that my silly adventure game Demetrios is NOW AVAILABLE on GOG!

The really good news is that it makes very probable my new adventure in development will get there too!

I know I’ve been a bit silent for a long while but that’s because I’m hard at work on that new game named “Brok”, which is a very ambitious one. If you’re interested to hear about it and maybe try some pre-versions, feel free to join my Discord group :

“Brok” can already be finished (it’s fully programmed and written with a total of 23,000 lines of speeches) and a 15-hour long adventure on first playthrough (all the testers took that much time to finish it) with a lot of replay value!

I’m hoping I can release it next year but there’s still a lot to do, especially on the art side. When the time comes to announce it I’ll be sure to make its own topic filled with (I hope) amazing screenshots ^^
