The Labyrinth of Time

I enjoyed playing this game.  Yes, there are mazes, but they’re easy to navigate, and yes, the graphics and interface are rather dated, but neither are game stoppers.  Since I wrote a review of it for Mr. Bill a number of years ago, I thought I’d post a link in case anyone is interested in more details:

Didn’t know that Wyrmkeep had developed another game beside Inherit the Earth.
I usually hate mazes though so I think I’ll pass (they also had some very annoying mazes in Inherit the Earth)...

What? 1993?! Are you kidding me?! That screenshot screams late 90s! Or is it from some remastered later edition?

There was a DOS and Amiga version, but it has been upgraded.  There’s even an iOS app for it now.

It’s hard to say that something is showing its age when"retro style” rears its head so often.

This is one of my favorite games that I’m apt to replay every couple of years.  The music, though a bit repetitive, is atmospheric and the “mazes” don’t really seem like mazes. It’s delightful, clever and a small gem.
