So release is close, this thread is for all the pics you can take from different planets and share here.
Since planets would be procedural.

Some people are going for blogging their adventures.

Someone got it early.

Seems like you can share coordinates with friends and can invite to your visited planets.
This is cool, so wilco keep the coordinates of all great planets, game doesnt need psn+ too, so will jump into your stuff , if you are getting ps4 ver.
However if i had your PC i would suggest pc ver.

I am might not day1, feel like waiting for sale.
Lets wait for reviews.

I’m going ps4, might miss mods but game is probably so big it might not be a problem, also because of the possibility of PSVR support later in the year

Brilliant

Amazing

Indie does what Destiny failed to do, if in future updates they can put intense fps combat too….but for now i will more than settle for this.

PC guys will have a field trip with infinite fuel.
Imagine entering a planet in dogfights and planet dune worms attacking you all the same,
other creatures running and shit.
Epic.
Game has leaked here, everywhere need to find time to soak in completely.
Streams everywhere.
Worlds are really beautiful if you come across one.
Imagine beauiful Cyan or Myst type worlds, with great sound design, music but only empty.
Thats just more wishful thinking but if ine can have more to do than just gathering resources.

All in all, Hellogames delivered the promise.

I wonder if the lack of quests will make it boring after a while. I usually like to muck around the GTA world but after a while, it gets repetitive and boring.

But Gta has missions.
If you consider all the userbase who churn hours on games like 7DAYStoDie and randomnsurvival indie shit, this will have long legs.

And for me everything is repetitive in game mechanics and design anyway.
Even in quests and storylines.

Isnt the reason we were craving for remasters of old games earlier?

Game mechanics are repetitive, but I guess you are usually working towards an end goal (unless you are in an MMO which I don’t like). GTA has some side missions for sure, but I love those games mainly for the over the top story missions. In no man’s sky, you can do whatever you like, without ever having an end goal, so I’m worried that it will get old after a while.

They have added main campaign to reach the center, some people claiming 35 hours, but there is a patch adding more stuff.
There is main quest from tutorial to main center.
I dont know if its completely guided, but there is.
And these dogfights are hopefully part of it, otherwise finding players to fight will be ultra chorefest.
Its offline game too, so hopefully AI drones and bots.

Frankly bottomline is how much core is fun.
If its good past time , its ok.

Btw i have seen the center of galaxy part, got spoiled by one pic.
Its coincidentally similar to something really famous you saw at E3 from other game.

Game preloaded with the day 1 patch applied, now to wait for the unlock (still 24h to go here).
I think I will either get bored of it pretty quickly or spent and unhealthy amount of hours discovering a lot of stuff if I’m into the gameplay
