1893: A World’s Fair Mystery… Any idea how to get it?
This is Rose. Last week’s avatar.
I always put the avatar’s name in my sig.
See you around, wolf. Nerissa
Your “sig” is the size of a novel and I don’t read novels. I can barely read at all.

HA! I bet if I asked you to quote the last paragraph on page 68 of The Post Office, you’d know it by heart.
But you’re right about my sig. I have pruned it a little.

It’s been four years since the last time I’ve read Post Office; a new reading is in order.
Nice pruning.

I made a post here- http://www.intfiction.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=20193&p=0&e=0&sid=1b08466f53db23123b51abb200d2a234
Turns out it was released as freeware years ago. You could find the game either at my post or on the sidebar here. http://ifdb.tads.org/viewgame?id=00e0t7swrris5pg6

I suppose the Interactive Fiction Database could be classified as “malware”. Having access to that much awesome free IF could definitely be harmful to your health, job and marriage.
When is it more likely to see a bunch of stars in the sky? During the day, or at night?
(I’m registering at intfiction.org)
It must be a trick question.

That’s right.
It’s a much improved version of the Voight-Kampff test.
And you FAILED!
Finally the truth about Zobraks is revealed: You are a ROBOT!

Do you get the same warning for http://www.tads.org/tads2.htm ?
The website says you need the TADS 2 interpreter from there to run the 1893.gam file
The description of the download for 1893.gam says
This is the HTML-TADS .gam file.
For all systems. To play, you’ll need a TADS 2 Interpreter - visit tads.org for interpreter downloads.
The direct link to 1893.gam is
http://mirror.ifarchive.org/if-archive/games/tads/1893.gam
if you want to see if that works.
Thak you crabapple, I had registered at intfiction.org and picked up anything that wasn’t nailed to the floor (1893.gam, 1893_manual.pdf, 1893_map.pdf). However, I doubt I’ll play the game anytime soon (if ever), I just like to collect stuff . Like a hamster.
I probably have TADS somewhere in my hangar storage.
And that was a false positive from Avira.
