Greetings dear adventure-lovers!
I thought it would be nice to show you a chess set I made out of polymer clay. The idea was to make a chess set based on classical quests characters (QUESTS CHESS). Instead of a white side and a black side there’s a good side and a bad side. The characters were chosen and made so that on the same position in both sides (the pawns position for example) there will be a good character and a bad character from the same quest (green and purple tentacles in the case of the pawns). The only problem was with the position of the queens – since the good king is guybrush it was natural to pick Elaine to be the good queen, however, there’s no bad female character that fits in the bad queen position on monkey island 3. So, despite the fact that some people might not like the idea, I’ve chosen to make the bad queen an evil version of Elaine - what Elaine would probably be like (in my opinion) if she was to fall into lechuck’s hands and be converted to the side of the dead (evil ghost Elaine). Every different position has characters from different quest (except for the kings and queens positions). Well, enough with the introduction – here’s the world’s first QUESTS CHESS! I hope you'll like it The board- The board also has a good side (typical tropical island landscape - don’t miss Herman Toothrot ) and a bad side painted on it. All the elements drawn in the margins are from the same quests from which there are characters in the chess set.![]() The bad side (so that you won’t have to look upside down)- ![]() The entire chess – Pawns: green & purple tentacles (day of the tentacle) Rooks: indi & kerner (Indiana jones and the fate of the atlantis) Knights: simon & sordid (simon the sorcerer 1) Bishops: bobbin & mandible (loom) Queens: Elaine - good and bad versions (monkey island 3) Kings: guybrush & lechuck (monkey island 3) The good side – ![]() The bad side – ![]() Various pics of the whole thing - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's cool.
![]() I think someone here had found some of your stuff while searching and posted it as well. I seem to remember seeing the pawns.

Welcome to the Forum, The Mutajon. Great stuff! I especially like "casting" Bishop Mandible as a bishop.
