Myst 10th Anniversary DVD on Vista?

Hello.

Does anyone know (preferably from personal experience

) if the Myst 10th Anniversary DVD edition will run on Windows Vista?

Are there any other options for running the original Myst game on Vista?

My God, getting this game to work was a nightmare. Mind you I had the so called Masterpiece Edition, which was seemed to have been designed to not work in any way. I just got realMYST which played fine.

I'm sorry to make a redundant reply but after a few beers and an exhaustive last few days of installing this I feel like venting.
