Default Aquarica artworks

Hi there,

White Birds has sent us some artworks (the first public ones I believe) of Aquarica. For those who don't know yet, Aquarica is White Birds' next project, after Martine and Paradise. It will be in full 3d and won't probably be released before 2008.

So, since I've the artworks, I thought I'd share them with you. Here they are: http://www.aventurenews.com/2005/oct/07/88/
Or direct links:

The game's been formally announced to the French press yesterday by White Birds.

Any idea on the premise? Also, what's Martine?

Martine (actually "Martine à la ferme") is a small adventure game for children, based on a collection of books which has been a best-seller for decades. I think it's going to be released only in France and French-speaking countries. You can see a few screenshots here if you want: http://www.aventurenews.com/screenshots/martine/
It's going to be released next month in France.

Benoît Sokal's been very shy about Aquarica: he said the story was obviously based on a world surrounded by water, and that White Birds was planning to develop the story in video game and comic book (as it is the case for Paradise), but also with a movie.

I think White Birds actually revelead more about the story at last year's Inventory party (though I can't remember exactly what was revealed), so you might want to search the forums about that.

Netsabes, thank you for the art work.
Benoît Sokal mentions the game in this interview: http://przygodoskop.gry-online.pl/artykuly/a07eng_1.htm
Other that that I have not heard any news on this game (until today that is - thank you again )
