I wish there was a walkthrough for this game, I’m stuck as well, not knowing what to do with the rat or the snake…

Are you talking about the snake next to the door entering your home or snake threating the other character ?
If it’s the snake near your home talk to it until you can get its venom with a jar.
you use venom on fruit to kill rat and get it.
If it’s other snake threating the other character give rat to snake to save that characters life.
