Really?? Is the game that classic that Jon Kristinsson had an illustration for it???

And no, I’m not going to his website to find it. I obviously never played the game.

It’s part of a series. All games in the series (except one) have number in their titles.

Okay this time the clue should be more correct:

The games is heavily inspired by both a Humphrey Bogart movie and what is more or less a movie version of a Shakespeare play.

Discworld Noir ?

As a mix between The Maltese Falcon and the Theatre of Blood movie (which features murders based on those from Shakespeare’s plays) ???

Maybe this time I can be strong, but since I know who I am, I’m probably wrong. Maybe this time I can go far, but thinking about where I’ve been ain’t helping me start. - Michael Kiwanuka

Discworld Noir ?

No - I’m afraid I made this one a bit less obvious Naughty

(Besides if it was Discworld Noir I would have said it was based on three or several Bogart movies and not one (The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep and Casablanca))

But as a reward for your fine guess, I will give you just a tiny bit more to go on:

The Shakespeare play is The Tempest
