Searching for a lost Point & Click Adventure Game from the late 90’s
hey guys,
I hope you can help me: I am searching for an late 90’s point & click adventure game for PC but I forgot the name..
The plot was about a guy in a village which got attacked (?) by an alien U.F.O. ...
anyone remember this game?
What other famous game looks similar to it? Monkey Island? The Longest Journey? Myst?

good question: it looks like monkey island 3… like drawn and animated comic… any idea?
Well, there’s U.F.O.s, but that’s not about a guy that gets attacked, but about a crash-landed alien. It has cartoony graphics, though.

no, it’s not U.F.O.s aka Gnap…
I can only remember the Demo:
- you’re playing a young male guy
- there is sometimes this UFO coming beaming you to any other place in the game
- you have to be quick to solve the puzzle so that the UFO can’t place you always back to the start
- there is a quest with an old pick up truck
... I know this is hard ... but the game was really cool. I am still searching the web for it

It’s a DOS game. Try DOSbox.

oh…let’s see how this works on a Mac
On mac, you might want to take a look at Boxer http://boxerapp.com which is a wrapper for dosbox that is quite helpful I find.
it was not that hard with dosbox on mac

Just tried to play this on boxer and failed 
and i’ve never been able wrap my head around dosbox
