Ok, so I've got out of the Diner. Now what?

If I leave by taxi or by going down the subway, I get a cut-scene of a tatty guy with a scar across his eye. (Is that supposed to be my game character, screwed up and homeless in years to come because he didn't solve the mystery?)

Anyway, any advice would be appreciated! :)

Incidentally, does anyone know of a Fahrenheit forum? I couldn't find any on the net.

Escaping the diner is the goal of the demo.

I've no idea who the homeless guy is, or what part he plays, but I guess you'll need the full game to find that out.

Darn it, I want more, dammit! :)

Looks like I'll have to be getting that game. As demos go, it sure got me hooked.

Isn't that one of the best demos ever?
It's possibly one of the shortest, but in those few precious minutes that you actually play it, you become totally involved in the story :D

I absolutely can't wait to play the whole thing :D

I got the same guy messing up woth my game too!!! And I finally found you that's got the same problem...cause I was wondering whether it's just my imagination or I really see the guy at the end of the sequence when I go into the cab or the subway...I really don't get it what that guy's suppose to mean...If u go out at the back door u see a drunk there laying and I guess that's him...bit what's his purpose I don't know...
At first I thought that you gotta do something with him..I don't know like give him money or something to keep him quiet cause he could be a potential witness to the murder cause he could see you through the bathroom window I guess...But you can't interact with him...Lucas can just look at him and he says something like: poor guy he's freezing....I really don't get it what is it that I'm doing wrong...cause nobody else apart from you seems to be having the same problem...Somebody help!

You're not doing anything wrong. The responses and actions you are getting are supposed to happen.

I think that homeless guy has something to do with the bird that's looking through the window during the murder. That's my hunch. :)

So is that ho the demo's suppose to end? With the guy walking? Cause I thought when u finish the demo that there'd be some notice but here it only says that that's one of the possibilities to end the Fahrenheit game..I don't know, seems pretty strange... :)

Oh I see:) I don't know why but I was expecting a different ending scene...I can't wait for the real thing though cause I totally love it...thanks for letting me know:)

although it is a bit short...the demo...too bad...oh well I guess it won't be that hard to wait for a bit less than a month for the game..

Ooh, you can get insane too?? Got to try that :P I think I've already had every other possible ending, so I really need to see that one happening before I delete the demo and run to the store to get me a full version :) (don't know if it's out already though, I did already read a review about it in the computer magazine I'm suscribed to...)

Hmm, I can't seem to get him going totally insane... I still had 5% insanity left, but I didn't see any more actions to get him depressed... (I first washed my hands (+5, but otherwise the cop would arrest me), then looked through the window (-5), tried getting behind the counter (-5), tried the phone (-5), talked to the drunk (?) guy (-5), talked to the cop (-10) and then waited for the cop to go to the toilets (-10), but then I still had 5 left... any ideas? :)

And I also think the raven has something to do with the bum, cause in the intro, the bum isn't there yet when the raven arrives....

Did you
i) Try to leave the diner (having not paid your bill yet).
ii) Sit down on one of the diner's bar seats, so that the waitress comments about how pale you look

I remember both of those actions having a negative effect.

I don't know about the release date in Belgium, but the UK one is now 16th September.

Also, you can try and call Lucas' brother Markus in stead of using your coins to turn on the jukebox. Markus isn't home and that depresses Lucas because he really was hoping to talk to him about what just happened.

Personally, after siting down to finish my meal, I found that someone had been drinking coffee with me - yet I hate coffee (apparently). Possible this old dude is the guy I shared a meal with?????????????????????????????????

Thanks a lot everyone! Trying to leave the bar without paying did the trick... Now that I've seen every possible ending of the demo, it's time the full game's here... You're right about the release date, I've looked it up and it's due to come out on the 16th here too...

Oh, and the coffee... quite possible, I did already notice it, but I didn't think any further than just "hey, that's weird" :)

You will get to talk to the crazy man later when you return in the form of the police. It just gets better after that.Just don't forget to look for the bloody shirt on the floor of your apartment!

You do realise this thread is about the DEMO, not the full game, right? So you've just 'spoiled' a part of the full game for anyone just wanting demo help.
