I've never used someone elses saved game before but with the announcement of Broken Sword 4 I really want to to try and complete the game.

The only problem is (long story short) my reflexs are shot.

I'm at the part were you and Nico are in the huge underground temple place (Underneath the theatre). Susarro and Petra come up in the lift as I hide by hanging off the ledge. I can go across to the left but when I jump up and go to run, when Petra's gun jams, I always bump and crash into a wall and can't adjust myself with my keyboard in time.

Does anyone have a save game shortly after this point?

I'd love it if someone could send me one. If someone can, is there a special way to install it or do you just C+P it into saves? As I said I've never used someone elses saved game so I'm unsure.

Thanks if you can help or point me in the right direction.

The precise file you're interested in may be the file 11.BSS or 12.BSS in the "Partie 2" directory contained in the archive of the savegames ;)

Thanks alot.

How do I install them so I can run the saved games? Do I have to copy the one saved, or every file downloaded? Where do I put them?

Thanks alot in advance, this is great.

Edit: Never mind, I got the saved games working. Bah more real time stuff... I'm going to be stuck for ages heh! Thanks for the saves.

You're welcome :)
but keep in mind that BS3 deserves to be played despite some annoying parts. So don't spoil the game too much with those savegames ;)

I am having problems in the first part of this game when Nicole is enquiring about blond woman. She is asking the woman sweeping the street, the game locks up and I have to shut my computer off. I am hoping if I can get past this with a saved game I won't have any more problems. Ha! I went to your site and downloaded the file. How do I proceed from here to get the saved game into my saved games.
Thank you for your help

Welcome to the forum. :)

There should be a folder in the Broken Sword folder called Save or Save Games. I think you just drop the save in there.

[QUOTE=fov]Welcome to the forum. :)

I had to download an extraction folder to open these files. I then dragged them to my saved games folder but they do not show up when I play the game. I am getting very frustrated because the only reason I am trying to use saved games is that my computer freezes when I am trying to talk to the woman sweeping about the blond woman I have a new pentium 4 with a nvidia geforce 6800 video card. I don't know what else to do.
Thanks for any help

The savegames provided were produced with a US version of Broken Sword 3.
Are you sure you have extract the .BSS files under your "Broken Sword 3\saves" folder ?

You should get that disposition

ReneK, do you know how much memory your video card has? What version of DirectX are you running?

If you haven't already, check out this support page (http://www.adventurecompanygames.com/tac/support/pc/specific/broken_sword/crash/My_game_crashes_to_the_desktop_or_freezes_randomly .php?pid=1&sid=13&gid=2) on TAC's site. It gives some suggestions (such as lowering hardware acceleration) that might help with the crashing. Also make sure your CD is clean and doesn't have any scratches in it. Sometimes that can cause problems like what you're describing. If there's any dust, etc. on the disk, clean it off with a cotton cloth.
