Still Life Item Use?

It may sound stupid, but i can't use items!!
i am playing with the PC version and no metter what i tryied
i just can't select the item!!!!!
PLZ HELP GUYS!!

If all else fails just read the manual. It explains it far better than we could since, you know, that's what it's there for.

When you're near the area where you can use an item, a hand icon shows up at the top of the screen. When this happens, open the inventory and select the item you want to use.

It's a little tricky to get the hang of in the crime scene, but gets much easier after that point in the game (maybe because you don't need to use items as often).
