Hi! Does anybody know what is the title of this song in "Still Life's" intro?

Hey,
the music used is the Kyrie Eleison of Mozart's requiem mass.
If you like this piece you'll probably like most of the requiem.
IMHO it's one of Mozart's most beautifull works.
PS: first post! :D

Top man on the music front there, mate. I liked the intro music too, I think I'll 'induldge' that Mozart album.
/tips cap in cordial welcome
Silly me - I didn't realize that was an "actual" song.
So I'm glad someone asked the question (and that someone else answered it!)
Welcome to the forum, both of you. :)

Are you sure, that this is Kyrie? Maybe it's something else? Agnus Dei, or maybe this is not from Mozart's requiem??
Valete!

I believe that he wrote the requiem right before he died, for himself, while he was in a schizofrenic fever. :D
whatever though, it's brilliant. I got it off of itunes a couple weeks ago and I've been listening to it.

Sorry you're right, it's indeed the Dies Irae.
Actually, Mozart wrote his requiem for count Franz von Walsegg, who wanted to perform the work as his own in memory of his deceased wife. I wrote a short chapter on it in a paper I did about urban myths of musical history.
