I've looked in Google, but can't find a solution to my problem. When I put in the CD to install the game I get this message
"Could not find cluster in either h: \clusters or g: \", whereby them two letter are my CD-/DVD Drives.
I haven't had the problem with my old hardware configuration, and I've found out as much as it has to do with that the CD can't cope with the fact that I have two drives, but that's about it. Can somebody help me?
Thanks in advance.
PS: I'm still running Win98SE
it seems both broken sword games have issues with drives that aren't named D:.
for me, the solution was to move the CD from my E: drive (CD-R), to my D: drive (DVD). for you, the solution may be to rename one of your drives D:?
i'm sorry i can't tell you how to do this, i've had three glasses of wine and i don't want to give you any instructions i might regret in the morning. but i'm sure there's someone else around here who can tell you how to rename a drive.

Are the CDs scratch-free?

I had the same problem when my cd-rom was broken(e:\) and i tryed to install it using my cd-writer(F:\). But when i replaced my broken cd-rom with a dvd-player, so that i had an e drive again, i could install it without any problem.
Only thing is that i have a creaking sound with Broken Sword 2, In Cold Blood and Escape from monkey island, but i don't know how to solve it.

Thanks for your input guys :). The CDs are scratch free resp. brand new as I have never played them. They came in an adventure games collection from Interplay and as I already had the game, never used them. I just can't find the Revolution CDs anymore. I believe one of the CDs was badly scratched and wouldn't play past a certain chapter anymore, and being me I generously disposed of them knowing we had the game twice.
:\
I have done more research and found several threads in Revolution's forum. It really does seem to have to do with the drive letter of the CD-Rom. Nowadays people have big HDDs and I can hardly imagine anyone having the CD-Rom on d: \ anymore. There's got to be a patch or something, right?
(BS1 which I also have in a games collection is fine, btw. I just checked it.)

You might want to check this site out:

I think there should be a solution to your problem there. Either in "articles" or "troubleshooter" section.

Thanks, Wajus. :) The solution seems to be to make a copy of my game - I thought that was illegal? Well, I will probably learn something about overcoming games protection.
George: Hey! Don’t do it, pal!
Miguel aka doughy: Huh? Why not?
George: If you try copying the game, you’ll regret it.
doughy: Give me one reason why I shouldn’t.
George: Because there's more to this than just you wanting to play the game.
doughy shoots George and walks off with evil laughter.

If you have an original copy than it should be 100% legal to make one copy for your own use only (at least that's how most of the copyright acts work).
It says there also that you might first try to download drivers or firmware (it is like cd-rom's bios) than the mentioned software and than finally when all other options failed you should try to make an copy.
I think that you should try to download drivers/firmware for your cd-rom first.

Oh my god! He killed George! You bastard!
That's not fair. You knew he would stand no chance against you with his anti-gun attitude - hmm, I wonder if George is by any means inspired by MacGyver in that matter?

nvrmind, it's solved :)
I tried using my f-drive, not G. That worked fine. After the install I can use both drives no prob. I guess it's a bug in the setup file. The message showed "cannot find cluster in f:\clusters or g:\" so I believe the setup didn't properly deal with more than one disc drive (setting the search path to the root, instead of the clusters directory)

Crazy, try putting the disc in your FIRST drive, for example if you've got two CD-drives, D and E, use drive D, that ought to work... (at least it did for me)
