Yes, that's what you need to do.
I seem to remember that you have to do something with them first, though...

I think you need to open them before you can slip them into the coffee cup.

This is a tough one.

Hint:

You have to find out what the correct amount of each gas is for an environment where you can breathe the air.

Bigger hint:

Go back to Peter's room. Play around with the air vent above the door and the button that tells you information about the room you're in.

Both of them need 2 digit entry to operate but the no's are all worn out. Gime a clue ...You need to "construct" the digits. The clue you need for this is inside the diary you've got. If you're playing the English version, you might need to install the game patch first, or the clue there won't work.

Thanks Dale baldwin ..
I do find a code type thingy in the diary but its longer than 2 digits and the letters are kinda small so very hard to know if its a b or E or 8 there.
I am playing the english version if there is a patch do tell me where to find it?

I downloaded and tried to run the patch but it says no installation of moment of silence found u need to install the game first :\

Can u tell me wat's the code in the diary ? i find something like this

code "TR M ER E - EL E ER" at the bottom of a page near the end of diary.

The E's there are actually B's...

If the patch doesn't install, maybe it helps if I give you the correct code?

It's TR M BR B - BL B BR.

Is it a typo in your post? Did you replace the B with an E? In that case you don't need the patch for that. ;)

Let us know if that helped. :)

edit: I have to learn to type faster. :D

Hmm but the 2 panels one with red button and other with green at the platform got the broken type digits in numerical value form ?? or are those in A B C ?

The code in the diary relates directly to the symbols you can choose.

A hint:

What if the code is consisting of short cuts for the positions of the digit's light bars? ;)

Thanks for ur help MaryScots & Dale B..

A bigger hint? :)

TR means TOP RIGHT bar has to be highlighted and so on... If you press the buttons different signs appear -> broken digits but there is one on each side where all bars are highlighted according to the code

Here's the answer:

The left digit should look like a mirrored "E" without the top bar and right digit should look like a small "u". They appear as a whole when you click through the digits. :)

Ah, no wonder I didn't remember what you were talking about. I looked up the answer for this puzzle almost right away.

I felt bad afterwards because the logic was kind of clever, but I just didn't have the patience for it. :D

Me too. I instantly rated it a myst-style puzzle, though at least I tried to figure it out. But then I wanted to know what comes next so I cheated. :D I was really lucky that there was an answer already as the game was released only 1 or 2 days earlier.

I had a lot of trouble with that puzzle too. I eventually went looking for a walkthrough, only to find that even though it explained the puzzle, the code in the journal was incorrect. Even if I had worked out how to do it, I still wouldn't have been able to solve the puzzle!

The patch for that bug was released only a few days after the game's release. Did you check for updates or how did you solve the problem, Pelican? Was it only a spelling bug in the diary so when having the correct codes one was able to solve the puzzle? Just curious. :)

Something was implanted in your teeth. You need to get it out somehow.

Before you can do that though, you must have given the guard his keys back.

I am at this huge facility now. After talking with the boss computer i am running around 5 satalitle dishes. Each dish got a settings display with a specific range to change. Also there are display screens showing the map of world in red which keeps changing as settings change. All this running around is wearing me down. Need a hint ... :)

Warning: This puzzle is HARD.

From a walkthrough:

To silence the transmission, the receivers-dishes should not get any signal input.

Based on Graham's diary, only 3 stations are needed to be turn off to sabotage the whole system. Based on the Bermuda Relay Station, #2 is the one that is receiving signal input from North America. Since you have destroyed that relay station, also verified by the 'no signal input' on the stand by the stairs in the bulkhead - no adjustment is needed.

The other 4 parabolic dishes will not receive any transmission if they are all adjusted to receive input from North America via the destroyed Bermuda Triangle relay station.

So, the object of the puzzle is to adjust all the dishes to point at North America.

If you want more info, check the walkthrough here (http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcTt/TMOS.htm).
