In Memoriam Ending: Quick Question

I finished In Memoriam last night, but I have a question about the end of the game:

I beat the Phoenix's online game, and I got the message from Gery that Jack and Karen had been located. I have since had several emails and I know they have been rescued. From reading other threads I know that there will be a few more emails yet, but my main question is: Is there meant to be any sort of video sequence at the end of the game? After the last game I got the message asking for permission for a "video" and then nothing happens even when I allow it. If there IS meant to be a video sequence, should i have seen it by now or does it come later? If something has broken, I can just watch the file manually, but I don't want to until I know it's the right time...

As far as I know, there is no video sequence. The ending itself was kind of anticlimatic to me, after such an intreguing game. The "thing" you allowed only triggered the last parts of the game (and e-mails), I think.

It's over now; all you can do is wait for the sequel.

It does seem a shame for such a cleverly designed game to have such an anticlimactic ending - I guess it may be realistic, but it sure isn't exciting...

Its a great game and i am waiting for its sequel more than anything.
