I am trying to run dott on win2000. It is an 5 year old dell machine with its original sound card. I don't know the settings for the port, irq and buffer to enable the music and voice. Can anyone help?

Visit http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php and download the windows binary. ScummVM is like an emulator for old LucasArts games - you can use it to play the old games without having to bother about sound card settings and stuff.

Run ScummVM and add day of the tentacle to the games list there... fiddle with the graphics settings as you'd like and hit play. (I recommend full screen with aspect ratio correction turned on, using the advmame2x filter).
