If you go to the RealArcade Betatest Homepage (http://betagames.realarcade.com/) and sign up, you download and try Dream the first and only adventure that isn't a kiddie game like the Treasure of Bing Bong Island, or a hybird like BeTrapped, in it's Beta stage that is...

Also, it appears to be the first beta that is really a demo...

What they really want is feedback to see if anybody liked it, becuase if nobody votes for this games if won't "go gold" and they probably won't make more adventure games...

I must admit that the demo is too short and simple, but remember that RealArcade is all about small, short, simple and cheap games...

So, if you want, download it, try it and vote for it! Who know this might be the first of many adventure games for RealArcade!

The beta/demo is very short, you'll beat in less than in 30 minutes... Maybe even 15...

Is it browser based or does it run off an .exe file? (I'm on a Mac right now.)

Dream is a unique adventure game set in a small fictional village called Wish, which is situated in Europe around the turn of the 20thcentury. Click on objects to solve puzzles to complete your quest.

* Windows XP
* 500 Mhz
* 64 MB RAM
* DirectX 8.1
Hmm, it's an .exe for sure, sorry... :frown:
I don't even think RealArcade work on a Mac...

That's why I have to wait until this weekend. :D (I have a PC at home.)

I just played it and sent back my comments. I definitely think the game has promise. *D

It's the closest I've seen so far to an actual adventure game in this casual / downloadable format.

Exactly! It may seem like too little for us, but it's perfect for the casual gamer!

That really is a charming little demo. :) It's WAY too short, unfortunately, but it still had to be good enough to leave wanting more. It is, and I do.
