View Full Version : WTF! (obscenely long AG forum loading times)

http://www.gamers-forums.com/smilies/cwm/3dlil/mad2.gif Anyone else experiencing this?! It's mid evening here in the Midwest, and most of you Europeans are now asleep, but it's taking literally several god damn minutes for each page to load whenever I click (it's still loading as I type!). It's not my end because I can log on to other sites and forums with no lag at all. And this has been happening off and on since the new forums opened. Marek, tabacco, or whoever, please explain. Thanks.

The website was having mySQL errors for quite a bit this morn, so I'm thinking it's just a server related problem...nothing the admins can't handle, I'm sure :P

MySQL keeps getting overloaded. Unfortunately, nobody from AG (not me, not Marek) has the ability to do anything about it, so we need to wait for either DJG or ZeroXCape to take care of it whenever it happens.

It varies from time 2 time 4 me. Sometimes forum downloads pretty fast and sometimes it tooks ages 2 download each page.

Sounds like you should have better indeces for your tables.

Yep... depends from time to time, but now it's slow... especially creating new posts... and the images load slow too... And since the other parts of the internet are not this slow it's not my (read Chello's) fault this time... I think... :)
