Right, so I've just completed Myst IV - Revelation (without any cheats/hints/walkthroughts et cetera :o) and I wasn't too terribly impressed with it, although the the journey to Dream was enjoyable (had no idea Peter Gabriel's presence extends beyond entire Ages :o). But, uh, it might just be me, but I'm pretty certain the Revelation Yeesha is not the same Yeesha in Uru. This a huge plothole or did I just miss something substantial, storywise? O_o Let's hear it.

She is the same, only before the peyoté habit kicked in.

It is obvious that the Revelation Yeesha is the daughter of Atrus. In URU there is a letter from Atrus to his daughter Yeesha in the cleft. So URU-Yeesha equals Revelation-Yeesha. q.e.d.

I'm a Peter Gabriel fan, and I thought it was wierd too. Nice music though.

Right, I'm certain that they are the same person, but I was referring to their relative personalities. They seem strikingly different. Is this a substantial plothole, or did I simply miss something big in the storyline?

I just assume that Yeesha discovered the properties of a certain cactus. Although you're right, it is jarring.

Yeah, agree it was nice enough music. Just so utterly out of place.
