Oh god, I remember seeing this game in a store a veryyyyy long time ago. Does anyone know if it's any good or not? I remember it because Rob Schneider was in it.
Well then it must be good.
Wait a second, Rob Scheider was in an adventure game??? :shifty:

Very odd right? It makes me wonder how good it could be...I don't know of one person who has played it.

I played it, and it was... pretty frickin' weird. It was a long time ago, though, so the memory is hazy.
It wasn't a traditional adventure, but more of a dynamic, narrative-driven FMV Dragon's Lair. :D I'm sure that cleared everything up, right? As the story played out, you'd have to click options onscreen in real-time to influence the story. There were lots of "wrong" paths, but unless I'm mistaken, none led to "game over" moments; instead leading back to a place where you could try the sequence again.
Schneider was typical Schneider. There were definitely some laughs to be had, but it wasn't a thigh-slapper or anything.
Ultimately the whole thing was just a little too cheesy and weird for its own good, so I sure wouldn't go out of my way to hunt it down or anything.

Actually, I was more interested in meeting somebody who has actually played it than getting the game itself. So thanks!

Wow.. I actually own the game. Bought it for $5 or something back when Egghead Software was closing all their stores and letting games go for like $75 off. Haven't played it, really, because the interface drives me insane.

I remember playing the demo when it was released. I thought it sucked big time.

I'm trying to think of this other game that's even older, but I can't think of it. I know it took place in a comedy club, and probably featured some "famous" comedians. And you had to...do stuff...and if you did them wrong, you got thrown out of the club or something? Does this ring a bell to anyone?

I've played the demo, I thought it was crazy then! I would really like to play the full game, or to download the demo.

I remember the game being mentioned in a magazine here in Italy, a very few notes about it, like it was going to be an adventure game, by EA, and nothing else really. I guess when EA saw where that was going, abandoned the project altogether, it never got released here and I guess not many copies are around. Still, it's not one of those games that gets valuable with time, shame :D
