I really liked Syberia and Runaway, road adventure.
Are there any new games similar to them? :D
(I dont like Myst.. :Z )

I recommend "The Moment of Silence". Best game last year, IMHO.

I am waiting for Dreamfall & Lost Paradise and Runaway 2...
I'll go get Moment of Silence now :)

There's also Syberia II. It might not be as good as the original, but I enjoyed it more than any other adventure I've played this year.

Black Mirror - that's a reasonably good horror adventure if you can get past the wooden voice acting :)
Also Sherlock Holmes and the Case of The Silver Earring :)

I second that. Although I can't comment on the voice acting.

Sherlocks good provided you can put up with some arse design decisions. I liked it's atmosphere above all else, but it can be very annoying.

TMOS is great... it's got its own problems, but nothing touches it of late! I'd highly recommend it.

Reviewed 'em both, oddly.

Same as Jazhara, I second that. Black Mirror is the best 3rd person I've played in a while, and the french voice overs where ok.

I agree with that - this game is really annoying :frown:
So much so, that I have actually put it on hold for a day or so whilst I play something a little less frustrating (Celtic Kings - Rage of War)

Same also with TMOS - this an intelligent, atmospheric game but IMO is way too short

And the voice acting in the german version of Black Mirror was brilliant, as well.

Too short? Really?
Hmm. I've read that in some comments before... How long did it take you to complete it?

Er - about a week. Bought it on Xmas eve and had finished it by New Years day. I did have a lot of spare time, but I tried to limit my gameplaying to evenings though.
I'm not sure what it was - it just seemed unsatisfying somehow, when I finally finished :)

Thinking about it, it wasn't a massively long title. But I didn't notice it that much at the time... a lot of the time was made up running around from place to place. Mind you, I spend a while trying out dialogue choices in this type of title so perhaps I didn't see it?
Regardless, my own problems with it are entirely different. Length in games isn't an issue to me unless it's obviously detrimental or evidently TOO short... I found TMOS to be quite well paced up until nearing the end... I'd never thought I'd ask for more padding in a game though! ;)

I do agree with you. This game has many positive aspects - story, atmosphere, conversation/information; but the constant running about from location to location trying to find out who you were supposed to speak to in order to progress really let this game down imo, + the lack of a much-needed journal really annoyed me.
But - please don't get me wrong. I would recommend this game to anyone with a love of sci-fi and conspiracy theories :D

Same here. Which is really what it's all about - it's the closest there is to the X-Files!
Other than the X-Files games.
Um...

The length felt right to me. I think it took me 20 or so hours to complete, which is a long time, compared to most other AGs, but almost 6 or so where spent trying to figure out the last puzzle.
