I installed Morpheus on my PC (XP w/SP2) after installing the dosapps patch, but when I play the game, I get an error message that says
unhandled exception: c0000005
at address: 66922c3a
top of stack: 0012eba4
I know this relates to quicktime somehow (i installed the version that came with the game), but I have no idea how to fix this. I read somewhere online that reinstalling the game clears this up but that didn't help me.
any suggestions?

I had the same problem, even after installing the dosapps patch. The only way I could get it to work was by uninstalling morpheus and quicktime 3.0, and then removing all other versions of quicktime from my system before running the installation of morpheus and quicktime 3.0 again.
I noticed that the error message identified the offending module as quicktime 6.5 (which was the current version on my system.)I also had to change the quicktime 3.0 options to use wave sound output instead of directx sound. (you can do this from the quicktime entry in control panel). I am also running the game with 16 bit color and in windows 95 compatability mode and not allowing the game to try to change my screen resolution.
I hope this helps :)
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for posting your solution here. It'll come in handy down the road, I'm sure.

My copy of Morpheus just arrived in the mail today and I was having the same problem. Thanks for posting, paul - fixed all my problems (well, all those related to Morpheus at least :P).
