G3:problems, help please!

Hi

I'm having some probelms with gabrial knight 3, day 1 4:00 pm

my quick walk says:
1. visit blanchefort
2.use the binoculars to spy on Buthane and Mosely(top og Blanchefort)

But: the zoom button on the binoculars doesn't work! it is 'unmarked', so to speak, and nothing happens when I use it!

I seem to remeber that it worked earlier in the game, so I think it's really strange...

I really hope someone can help me, I'm so clumpsy with computers and games...

Hmm, you do remember that you have to turn the binoculars so that they face exactly the right place? Then the zoom button will work.

I think I've tried turning them in every and all directions, do you remember which direction is the right one?

Well, I found the right angle...

and I thought there was something wrong with the game (a bit embarressed)
