The Last Express Help Request

Hello, all. I am becoming increasingly frustrated with "The Last Express," and despite having looked at walkthroughs, I am not able to go through the glass door of the roof into Kronos's compartment during the concert. The mouse cursor shows only "forward" and "back," nothing like "look down" or "smash" and I have spent about an hour wandering from one edge of the roof to the other.

So far I have
Taken care of Tyler's body (put on coat, avoided police)
Talked to Schmidt a number of times
Met Kronos in his private cabin
Fought Milo
Gotten the Golden Egg and hidden it in my room
Traded the roach for the whistle
Gotten the Firebird translated
Gotten the Master Key out of Anna Wolf's (dog-free) room

I have gone to BOTH ends of the train (I believe the correct window is AWAY from the steam) but to no avail. Does anyone know what's wrong, or have a screenshot of the proper method of doing this? I may just go mad with frustration....

I think I'm just the guy that can help you, but please don't say that you are frustrated by the game!

The cursor on the Kronos roof should turn into a hand. Be sure that you've pointed it into the middle of the glass roof, and it should turn into a hand (like in opening doors)

Yes, the right way is AWAY from the steam, but don't go to the last car, it's the pre-last car (Kronos').

Thank you, both of you, for your help. I was trying to break the last glass window (the clear one) but the screenshot and advice helped me to realize it was the colored one (which doesn't really look like a window.)

I love this game and can't wait to get back to it. Brilliant...it's a bit like Titanic: Adventure Out of Time (which I love, despite the bad dialogue and talking-head animation), but more interesting
