Scratches demo - inventory

I'm having trouble with the Scratches demo. I right click and get the inventory... now how do I get back to the game? Left clicking, space bar, backspace, return key, etc. do nothing. Right clicking again just makes the screen darker and darker until I have no background but I'm still in the inventory (the items are still visible, just not the background behind them). Pressing 'esc' just quits out of the demo.

Any ideas?

Gotta be a glitch of some kind, Emily. Right clicking should return you to the game screen. I just loaded it up again to double check, and it worked fine. So... I don't know what to suggest. :frown: I'd go ahead and email Nucleosys, because I'm sure they'd like to know there are potential problems (and, of course, may have a solution for you).

No problem with the inventory here, but I got a SCream exception error at a breakpoint bla bla, as soon as I tried to get out from the crypt. Didn't play much, it was running too slow (perhaps because this is just a demo with bug hunting routines running at the background), and --frankly speaking-- didn't like it much either.

There is a patch (at the official site) for people to use if the demo runs too slow on their machines.
