Has anyone played this game? JA gives it a C+ (http://www.justadventure.com/reviews/Daria/Daria.shtm) but admits that it's aimed at the MTV Generation, and I am curious if "younger" people (or younger at heart ;)) actually did enjoy this game. I am not a die-hard fan of the Daria show but I have watched it from time to time and found it amusing. (I am a big Beavis & Butthead and King of the Hill fan)... wondering if I might enjoy the game.

It's funny you mentioned that. I saw it yesterday at the site i posted in my "where do you buy your games" thread.

I said to myself "is this an adventure game, or a mini-game game?"

Even if you're a fan of Daria, you probably won't be too big a fan of this game. It isn't much fun to play.

Odd, I don't like it either but the last time I said it was horrible, everbody here defended it....
It's like a kiddie adventure, short, simple, not challenging at all....
I guess nobody here has played Sabrina the Teenage Witch , also by Simon & Schuster, it plays exactly the same and it's a kiddie game, yet this is supposed to be a teenage one?
If you can get this for 5$, you might enjoy it....
And the Beavis and Butthead games are DOTT compared to Daria's Inferno... :shifty:

Just did a search and found an old thread with your summary on this game, Tanukitsune. Sounds like it's not worth going out of one's way to buy.

Woah! You're actually agreeing with me? I thought half the forum would have come in it's defense by now!

I guess it does suck after all?

Heh, since we're on the topic of MTV Adventure Games, Beavis and Butthead Do U is probably the greatest adventure game of all time.

It should have been much better, but the thing is....
Mike Judge got hired by Fox to make "King of the Hill" while the game was being produced... The result?
He didn't have much time to voice Beavis & Butthead and most of the lines were cut short or simply changed to a generic "Huh-huh, cool!" response... :frown:

Speaking of which...when will the king of the hill adventure game be out?

Hmm, maybe a </sarcasm> at the end of my post would've been more helpful. But yes, you're right, it could've been much, much better. Heh. I just still laugh at the fact that Beavis and Butthead were made into an adventure game. Heh.
