Lights Out:Dark Fall (spoilers)

I have just purchased Lights Out however, I can't seem to get any were.
I have printed the walk through. Were it says that when I go through a door left ajared, a shadowy figure will ask if I will do a job. But when I run the game on my pc and go through the door, there is no shadowy figure no one askes me to do anything so I just going around in circles. Please Help Thank You in advance for any help in this matter Irish. :sad:

Strange. The only problem I had was after talking to said shadowy figure, and not being able to board the boat.

Thank you for your help but I solved the problem. Got on the boat and went to fetch rock with no problem. Thats what I get for jumping the gun. But I'm stuck again. Got into the light house with no problem. Now I'm down in the boiler room. Tried to get it started but no luck. Room next to the boiler still has no lights. Tried the right order (middle, bottom, top) still no lights. So what am I doing wrong.

This was the first hint I needed(I missed the piece of paper with the combination). In addition to the boiler, you also have to enter the sequence on the pipes in the corner of the room across from it(use the Lantern). I can't remember which order it needs to be done in(boiler-pipes, pipes-boiler), but it shouldn't take long to figure out...

EDIT: Oops, I just noticed you were talking about the pipes(duh!). There's also another set of switches on the backside of the boiler itself.

Woohoo got it thanks for the help. So now I'm off to explore the lighthouse. I'm quite sure that I'll be back though.

This is an old game and an old thread, but thought I'd give it a try, what exactly do you need to board the boat apart from the lantern and the floppy disc.

Any hints would be very much appreciated.
