Mirror’s Edge gameplay and SW Battlefront fighter battler are the highlights of gamescom so far. They look amazing, EA engine for this gen is above other third-party stuff.
New FF 15 trailer doens’t show much but there will be gameplay later today I think.
Also a new trailer for the Destiny expansion

With excitement comes bad news, i was discussing about Johncarpenter and Rare for a last couple of days, and coincidentally Rare was making , TheThing like survival horror, Sundown.
Not only that Rarereplay have good chunk of canned games, and all looking super desirable.
Kameo2 looks ace, more darker approach, great character designs, i digged Kameo and mature approach would have been ace in the hole.
They also cancelled Kart racing game, with Rare charcters racing it out in Mariokart style.
So much great designs and potential all wasted in Kinect and MMO looklike.

Yeah, there’s been loads of bits around the net about all their canned games. Nuts & Bolts for example was two game ideas MS put together for example.

They both looked cool.
Today was a lot better with the two above, Unravel and Mafia III looking fine.
An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

The Mafia 3 gameplay looked good but are they going the Ubisoft playstyle of open world? I hope not, I liked the more linear experience in the previous Mafia games…

That Dawn trailer was indeed a deliberate troll.
MGSV Motherbase demo though.
That invasion online stuff is a whole separate layer, with super intense cat and mouse experience.
Japan SE seem to enjoy announcing things and making pretty videos, but not actually releasing much.
It’s quite dangerous really.
