Lord know how it'll look!
OK, in my defence I stole that terrible pun from the TV series DVD.
Great idea though. I think the original was available as a Java version of Douglas Adams' site (minus saving, but you could sneakily save the data file from the page and run it through a Z-code interpreter), but it's a good idea to bring it up to date. I'm surprised more people don't do that with old text adventures... an easy way to keep someone's attention while you fart banner ads at them, I'd have thought.
Anyway, good stuff.

Exactly like this, I'd wager;

Illustrated by the same guy who did the Guide graphic animations for the Beeb TV series. And there are still parts left to be illustrated, which forms the basis of a rather cool competition...

The illustrations are a nice touch, but the whole engine for it runs sorta slow at times-- the text will load before the graphics.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the HHGTG movie and the new radio plays of HHGTG.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to ... the new radio plays of HHGTG.
You've already missed an episode ;). Tuesdays at 6:30pm GMT, BBC Radio 4. You can listen online at www.bbc.co.uk (and you can listen to the most recent episode here as well, so hurry!)...
