This is a pretty new game. But I really do have some questions to ask about and no help from the official forum. Anyone plays this game at all? Or I am alone out there?

I've started the demo but I thought that the controls were so incredibly bad that I didn't even finish it. :D

Wow...a 1.7 from GameSpot. You don't generally see them hit a game that hard.

You might want to play Mistmare only if you're exploring the benefits of primal scream therapy. As a frustration generator, it's unmatched. As a game, it's a complete mess.
Ouch.

I also played the demo and it WAS SO BAD, it was almost unplayable. Worst control scheme EVER! Avoid this game at all costs!!!!!

The funny thing is that the reviewer has alot of positive stuff to say, but still it ends up with such a low score

Not really. The whole review is mainly negative, and the few good points that are listed come with caveats.

Really? As far as I remember he had quite a few positive comments.... Oh well, I read it a couple of months ago, so my memory might be failing me

I played the demo early on, and it WAS virtually unplayable due to the terrible controls. After getting that feedback, the developers chewed out gamers on their forums for being stinkin' rotten ignoramuses. Then they reluctantly DID make some changes that made it significantly better (though that says more about the original state than the improvements). Still not good enough to make me buy the retail version, though.
Just for a little balance, PC Gamer gave it 65%.

You Might Be Wrong?
It's a Radiohead song.
Er... was that your question? Yes, he might be wrong.

Amnesiac (http://www.ateaseweb.com/discography/amnesiac/index.php), but you'd also be right to assume that it's just an emphasis to indicate clichéité.
